Gonna start doing more freshwater around here can any one tell me when Spawn Prespawn etc happens? Love flipping a Jig to a big Girl on the bed

Usually April is a good month but can be late March or early May depending on weather and the pond ,lake or river your on

Awesome thanks for the info....I was figuring Mid March Time frame....Will be fishing mostly BSL and some other local Ponds.....Kind of miss flipping jigs been a few years

With the way the weather has been lately if say they start bedding late March early April. With late April and early may being the best action. Once the water starts hitting above 45 -50 . That's when they start in my pond atleast . I'm not much for fishing them while they bed gets to easy my kids love it though cause they can see the fish they are after .

Bass are starting to school up large bait balls in my pond won't be long and they will be bedding caught seven in 30 minutes ranging from 1-3 lbs. all males big girls still slow to move up out the deeper holes
